Tired of dragging your whining boyfriend around while shopping for furniture? An IKEA store in Sydney, Australia, recently tested out Mänland, a man-friendly daycare area complete with foosball tables, Xboxes, hot dogs, and pinball machines. Timed buzzers were handed out to partners and spouses to remind them to collect their men 30 minutes later. Mänland was modeled after Småland, the children’s play area found in IKEA stores.
What do you think about this? Would it be a relief or just annoying that your partner could goof off in a man-tastic play area while you get errands done?
