Kanye’s “Monster” Video
Six months after the initial leak, Kanye West has released the final version of his music video “Monster” featuring Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, and Jay Z. The video is laden with misogyny, scantily-clad women, and disturbingly morbid images, among other things. All reason enough for Kanye to include a disclaimer which reads, “The following content is in no way to be interpreted as misogynistic or negative towards any groups of people. It is an art piece and should be taken as such.” Hmmm “art piece” Kanye? Okay…call it what you will, but there is no denying that this video is beyond creepy. But then again, who really cares? Besides continually affirming that he is a royal douchebag, Kanye hasn’t done much to impress us.
