Molson Coors has launched Animee, a new beer line that is targeted at women and available in three flavors: clear filtered, crisp rose (tinted pink), and zesty lemon. The beers are lighter and less gassy than normal brews.
Molson Coors marketing director Chris McDonough said “It’s important when launching a female beer not to be too patronizing.” Yeah, making your women-oriented beer “prettier” and ignoring sexism in beers ads is totally not patronizing at all.
