Showtime’s newest series ‘Gigolos’ is, quite frankly, the epitome of raunchy reality television. ‘Gigolos’ is a series in which cameras follow around a group of male escorts in Las Vegas (duh) and film their sexual encounters with the myriad of female clients they acquire. So, as you can imagine, the sexual adventures vary from creepy fetishes, to wildly inappropriate fantasies. Now, let’s be honest. We all have a few shows that we deem our “guilty pleasures” but is this taking it a little too far? It may be semi-entertaining to watch, solely to see what the escort characters are like who signed up to do this show in the first place, but would you want to sit through a show based on the sexual encounters of others? Is this gross or entertaining? Thoughts?

I’m still not sure if I love reality TV. What was the original reality program on air? It’s like there is a reality tv show for any subject. You can take singing or any other random idea and turn it into a reality show. I kind of miss the days before reality tv when we just had regular tv shows. I guess times change.
