Work Sucks
Work sucks! We all have those days, weeks or even entire jobs that just plain suck. Most of us bear through the the crappy jobs until another opportunity presents itself or until we mentally cannot take it anymore. I know what your thinking…. “work doesn’t have to suck, just do what you love.” Realistically this is not possible for millions of Americans unless pro sports lower their standards significantly and laying on the beach or watching TV is moved to a paid occupation. So many of us will remain in miserable jobs. In the past people have capitalized off this with movies like “Office Space” and just this past week we all got a taste of it again. Steven Slater a flight assistant for Jet Blue had a rude customer to deal with and snapped. He yelled at her over the intercom, grabbed two beers and popped out 
the plans emergency shoot to slide down to freedom. Erratic behavior like this is usually looked down upon, but it seemed like people everywhere supported him. Similarly, last week there was a girl who quit via a whiteboard and emails. Sounds awesome, but was just an act. Either way people embraced her witty quit and calling her boss out on time he spent playing Farmville. Too bad it wasn’t real. But the fact remains, we LOVE seeing others admit how much they hate their job.
