Beforehand it was easier on the parents as they could take their kids on playdates, to the park, to the movies, or to perform numerous activities outside of the home in order to keep their kids entertained. It is definitely complicated to find the same type of entertainment. Here are a couple of tips and tricks you can do to keep your kids entertained at home.

Use hand crafts to keep your kids entertained for a while. Help them do things aside from beings in their phones. Having your kids use their creativity in their imagination will not only keep them entertained, but it will definitely boost their artsy side, and help them get more in touch with their senses.

2. Use your garden or terrace for outdoor space

Although being at home means not leaving the house this doesn’t mean that you can’t use your outdoor space or your garden for different activities. How do kids play in the garden from soccer to even playing with a hose or the sprinklers,  have them do different types of activities outside so that they don’t feel that they have been indoors for a while.

Electronics are definitely a good distraction and a great way to keep kids entertained at home however, it is not the only thing you want them to do art every hour of the day. Spending their entire day glued to the screen can even hurt your kid’s eyes in the long run. Make sure that you keep their electronic time-limited, and that if they are using it, they are at least learning something. Instead of being online have them do a couple of more things around the house, to replace the time that they would like to spend in front of the computer.

The most important part about keeping your kids entertained is actually interacting with them. Pick out activities you can do as a family and make sure that you use this time at home to bond with your kids.
